EN World Review – The Haunting of Larvik Island by Thick Skull Adventures
It is Wednesday once again, and I can only hope that you, my Dear Readers, are coping well in this sweltering heat wave which seems to have gripped most of the country. For myself, I am finding that the air conditioning unit in my apartment is hardly enough to cool the whole place, regardless of a whole troop of fans blowing, and I’m beginning to feel like I’m living in a wind tunnel these days – not to mention dreading what the next electric bill will be!
But before I digress completely, this week I have a new review posted over at the EN World News site, with the flagship product from Thick Skull Adventures. Their first release is a low-level adventure for D&D 4E entitled The Haunting of Larvik Island, and is a darned good entry product into the GSL market.

Review of The Haunting of Larvik Island by Thick Skull Adventures
It is nice to see a new company enter the GSL market, considering how many other Third Party Publishers have packed up producing for Dungeons & Dragons 4E this past year. Adventures are certainly a staple of the market which Dungeon Masters everywhere can always use, and I certainly look forward to seeing more products from Thick Skull Adventures in the future.
So until next blog… I wish you Happy Gaming!

Michael,
Thanks so much for your thoughtful review. I had a lot of fun writing the module, but it was an incredible amount of work and I do appreciate you getting the word out.
As for your GSL comment, it is buried in small print in the adventure, but “The Haunting of Larvik Island” was written so that it could be played standalone or as the first in the series I intend to write. I learned quite a bit in my first outing so I’m hoping I can have the 2nd in the series within a year. I will make status reports available up on my website and facebook page.
Thanks again!
