News in Review Oct 18 to Oct 24 2010
Running a bit late today getting this news blog posted. We had to change one of my D&D gaming sessions to noontime rather than the evening, so my Sunday schedule got messed up. But I have to say it was a great session, giving us nearly five hours of play time, and we got a good sized combat done, as well as a ton of role-playing and plot development.
Yesterday was the World Wide Gameday of Gamma World, and although I did not have a chance to make it to a store that was playing (as they are all over an hour’s drive from my home), I did order Gamma World and cannot wait to try playing it with friends. I have been eagerly following a number of blogs this week (see below) that have been discussing Gamma World, particularly the couple of play blogs from At Will.com, Cockroaches in the Thunderdome: Gonzo on Gama Terra and Gonzo in Gamma Terra: Don’t Force the Funny, Automatically. I will be posting a review blog of my own Gamma World gaming fun as soon as I can get a session of it set up.
With Halloween approaching, expect to see some scary blogs coming along, including a new monster Theme I want to introduce for the season. Check back later this week and see what you think a new kind of undead I am unearthing… muahaha.
So until next blog… I wish you Happy Gaming!
