EN World Review – HARP College of Magics by Guild Companion Publications

Harp CoM coverWelcome back, Fellow Gamers and Gentle Readers!

The year is flying by it seems to me, and it takes me aback to see that we are already into the first week of March!  Supposedly, Spring is just around the corner – not that you’d know it around here, with snow still piled high and freezing temperatures each night!

Nevertheless, regardless of time of year or objectionable weather, I have posted another RPG review this week over on EN World NewsThis week, I had the chance to take a look at the HARP College of Magics by Nicholas HM Caldwell, by way of Guild Companion Publications, Ltd.  This sourcebook of new magic, spells, and talents is a reworking of the original release in 2004, but with new tweaks and content for use with I.C.E.’s High Adventure Role Playing game system.

Gimme some Magic… now gimme some MORE! (A Review of HARP College of Magics by GCP Ltd.)

I really like the treatment of the various magical disciplines in HARP College of Magic.  Although I haven’t played it in years, I think that this sourcebook adds a considerable amount of player and GM options to the HARP system.

After all, can you really have too much magic in a Fantasy Role-playing Game?

So until next review… I wish you Happy Gaming!
