EN World Review – Kobold Quarterly #22 by Open Design
Tonight has been one of those nights that truly tests the mettle of a writer. Buffeted by distraction after distraction, not to mention a raging case of summer allergies (Thanks you Air Quality Alert), it sometimes felt like I would never get through my EN World Review. Stubborn perseverance and several Red Bulls later, and I’ve managed to take a look at a pretty nifty new product for D&D 4E, Pathfinder, and DragonAGE.
I am of course talking about the Summer Issue of Kobold Quarterly, filled with new content articles for not one but three favorite Fantasy RPGs. And this issue contained an awesome peek at a mechanic from the upcoming 13th AGE by Rob Heinsoo! So it looks like the “Switzerland of the Edition Wars” is expanding its borders a bit, and possibly taking a new game into the mix!

Review of Kobold Quarterly Issue #22 (Summer 2012) by Open Design
I have to say I’m glad to see the quality of the articles in Kobold Quarterly taking on a high caliber this time around. Not to mention that reading the article about 13th AGE was a real treat, and I’m definitely excited to see the game when it’s released. I can definitely recommend the Summer Issue to both Pathfinder, 4E, and DragonAGE fans – there’s a lot in there that should make gaming fun for everyone.
So until next blog… I wish you Happy Gaming!
