EN World Review – Wandering Monster High School by Bold Pueblo Games

wmhs coverGreetings fellow gamers and gentle readers!  I hope that you are doing well, despite the freezing cold that has finally come down from the Great White North that has us all shivering in the snow this week!   For my part, I’ve been staying indoors as much as possible and out of the cold, although when you have temperatures in single digits and wind to boot, it’s hard to keep the cold at bay.

I’m half expecting to hear the leathery wing-beats of a white dragon overhead any time soon, or maybe a yeti howl outside my window!

But it is Wednesday once again, and I have another review to post on the new and improved EN WORLD NEWS.  While I have missed a couple of reviews these past few weeks due to a crisis or two, I still have plenty of games and supplements to review, and I’m back on schedule again with a lot of cool stuff to look forward to in the upcoming weeks.

This week’s review on EN World News is a light-hearted tongue-in-cheek fantasy roleplaying game called Wandering Monster High School by Bold Pueblo Games.  It combines the themes of a teen drama like Pretty Little Liars or Skins, with the perils of an evil character D&D campaign – definitely not something you think about combining!

Review of Wandering Monster High School by Bold Pueblo Games

I’ve always been a big fan of quirky roleplaying games – TOON and Paranoia have always been perennial favs – and I think Wandering Monster High School is a game cut from that same cloth.  Irreverent and spoof-y are great qualities for this type of RPG, and while you might not make a long-term campaign of those types of games, they are definitely worth having around for when the gaming group needs a break and just want funny and light-hearted for a while.

So until next blog… I wish you Happy Gaming!
